I'm not seeing it as as big a deal as maybe gib, and I could answer for him, but is UT ever gonna answer this question? It's been asked now at least a couple of times over several days.

It was just a mistake, the reason I haven't answered it is because it's nothing. Just like higgs hasn't answered my question about why she kept saying I switched bw on day one when I was never on the ksen bandwagon. It's just something that happens, reading alignment off of it seems like faux scum hunting. Unless you're going to subscribe to the notion that townies never ever mistype or get the vote count wrong.

Why do you think this, UT? You're bringing up some interesting points, but why are you cleared, and what should we think about your very last second vote of Irre when ksen was gonna be lynched anyway and there was no time to adjust anything after your vote?

yeah, that's why ksen used it for his fake claim last game. It's rare and easy to back track actions onto dead players.

Since you outed your role, what's your flavor name b.?
Is that relevant? I have one.
it certainly could be and since you've outed you should fork it over. Delaying just makes me think you're on google looking one up and we really should be lynching you.

Show me a game where irre bussed a teammate for 2 straight days and was even so convincing that she had me tied for the lynch lead for a good chunk of day 2.

because people who stick to the day before's vote without even seeming to consider the night actions make me nervous. And that's just what it looked like to me, unthought out votes that would look good since she was in second place the day before. Obviously I was wrong about zigmen and probably about mantis, but this was before we knew irre was scum. You're starting to look like you have a bad case of trolly tracking grit.

now back to my thoughts about gib. Read this post and the one below it.

http://www.rationalia.com/forum/viewtop ... 20#p893410

One of the first things Ob taught me about mafia is looking for people whose actions don't match what they're saying. Here we have gib worrying about having enough votes to get ksen lynched and thinking that the vote could come down to who is the mayor. Then what are his actions after saying that? to mayor vote someone with no other mayor votes on them, who has no current lynch vote. And this was a mayor vote on msg fairly close behind where msg unvotes irre in a way that several people found suspicious. It feels like a pat on a head to try and groom msg onto the ksen bw.

Not necessarily. If a vanilla town player were about to be lynched and someone else ended up dead, for example, no one would have to out any specials, but their having been bussed would be a good explanation.

I certainly don't expect any town specials to out, but any peculiarity as mentioned above might be useful.

I'll leave it at that and see how the votes look later in the day. I don't know how else to prove my claim anyway.
wait that's not how i thought bus driver worked

it's not the normal one, unless ob made a vote bw busdriver instead of a night one. I was thinking she was talking about the vig kill, it kind of makes sense if she's saying that the vig would attack the person with the second most lynch votes.

yeh it was a bit of a mess, read the pages leading up to it and you will see i started going into one about ksen at the point where i made my 'long post'. There was a general feeling (or so i thought) that irre should be given a break (something about her kids) and others seemed fairly certain on ksen too. time was running out and at the time i trusted msg

i wasnt keeping track of the mayor vote that's true

If I'm not voting to lynch DP or MSG/b.tern today, you and charlou are my prime suspects (and maybe Aza). I want to be convinced that you're town if you are. Day 2 there were two strongish BWs before Irre's vote on you (there were only 2 votes apiece, but more fOS from other players too). You weren't tied for the lead -till 15 hours into the day, when Mantis left the Irre wagon and made her same odd Day alignment with Irre's voting. There was always another BW tied with yours for the next 4.5 hours when gib and you pushed Zig to the lead, which you could have done at any time and with possible scum always handy to assist you with it if need be. I'm not saying it makes you scum, but it certainly doesn't clear you more than higgs.

I did answer your question, I was mistaken. Reread. What I think is odd is that no one else pointed this out to me before you did.

I haven't seen a busdriver work this way. I think b. msg is making it up. it would be a day move rather than a night move, I guess. But I don't think it qualifies as minimalist specials.
