New UK nuclear plant sites named

Ministers have announced plans for the next generation of UK nuclear plants.

The government confirmed a list of eight sites it deems suitable for new power stations by 2025, all of which are adjacent to existing nuclear sites.
Good to see we're not wimping out like the Germans & Swiss are.

What sort of range do they have, when they go wrong?

They reprocess plutonium at Sellafield already. If that went up fuck knows. Most of the NW of England would be uninhabitable.

Not much chance of it happening thats 15 years of politics for it to be cancelled

If we got rid of all that pointless health and safety red tape we'd have them running within a couple of years. If their gonna blow they'll blow. Why worry? No one gets out of this movie alive anyway. :coffeespray:
