Coito, when did you become a SOCIALIST !?!?!

I am not a socialist, why?

Are you of the impression that support for space missions is "socialist?" Where did you ever get such a ludicrous idea?

Sure there is. Government run programs tend to be like Apollo: big, politically popular dead ends. They go nowhere.

What we need is a slow but steady approach that leads to permanent settlement of space, not "manned exploration".

You said the government could do it. A clear sign of socialism, you commie. Did George Soros pay you to post that?

Apollo went to the Moon, among other things, and developed the Saturn V rocket. It was a monumental achievement, and hardly to be termed a "dead end."

Manned exploration is necessary for permanent settlement of space. In order to settle the moon, manned missions need to go there. Private enterprise is not engaged in a steady approach to lead to permanent settlements, private enterprise is engaged in the search for profit. And, rightly so. That's what they're there for. They will do things that they can make money on, which is great. However, it's certainly a role of government (in the US) to support the sciences and the useful arts, and a space program is certainly one of those things.

What are you on about? The government doing things is not a sign of socialism. "Government" =/= "Socialism."

What sort of nonsense are you selling here?

Hey coito, you've finally come around comrade!
Our struggle is not against actual corrupt individuals, but against those in power in general, against their authority, against the global order and the ideological mystification which sustains it.

What? Are you a supporter of a well-funded manned space program, including missions to the Moon and Mars, and bases thereon? Good! Come aboard! All are welcome.

Just because I trolled you, successfully, doesn't mean I'll fall for the same gag from you. I'm smarter than that. :tea:

Socialism: Anything the government does while a black democrat is president.

Not in my opinion, but if that's your opinion, then you are welcome to it. :ask:
