Re: Starfleet Finale
I'll think about it, k, but I've never had objections between the sites of Ratz and TR. They're not all that different as far as I can tell, though I don't really know either all that well.
As for Starfleet, I think it was my false expectation that Night 3 would fully last 'till midnight that messed with my mind. Loosing that 30 minutes of conversation with Feck and ob really tossed me about. In hindsight it seemed maybe a balance to other starts and stops I should have considered.

Re: Starfleet Finale
Ob, I guess in my mind if someone was town, they would want to clear themselves as town.oblivion wrote:I don't know that "usually" is all that usual, either by intent or by accident.divagreen wrote:Am I crazy, Bili? I am not as experienced as you guys, and again, maybe it varies from site to site, but town will usually answer the question that they ask when it is generally based.
As in: "What timezones are the peeps on here in? It would greatly help my game play. I am in MST, in case anybody is wondering." <----pro town.
though it could once again be a milieu thing.
Bili brought up, (paraphrasing), I look at why someone posts what they post.
I know that it is mi-nute and maybe I am being "obstinate". But he asked for info that he did not supply. Weighing this against his play, I thought that it was significant.
Currently suffers from Cassandra's curse.

Re: Starfleet Finale
gib, et al,
Don't think I'm not sorely tempted. I've tried to give this Mafia thing a good go of it, and I think I've had a couple of good games as either town or scum. But I'm usually absent for a chunk of the weekends and I don't get the weight of enjoyment from it some do. It's nice to meet people... strange and unusual critters all. My style of play is much more wacky still, WIFOMy, and filled with lynchable lunchables and wild imaginings. I don't know, does Ratz need it's own Jerome?

Re: Starfleet Finale
It depends on the player's overall style. I can think of a couple dozen people I've played mafia with who would "fail" this sort of test no matter what their role.divagreen wrote:Ob, I guess in my mind if someone was town, they would want to clear themselves as town.oblivion wrote:I don't know that "usually" is all that usual, either by intent or by accident.divagreen wrote:Am I crazy, Bili? though I have to admit that there's very little on the internet that is more demoralizing and off-putting than being lynched when town.

Re: Starfleet Finale
Well, one of the great things of playing as a Calvinist is that GM counterclaims notwithstanding, we don't believe there are any random roles or mis-lynches.

And "trying" to clear yourself is scummy.oblivion wrote:It depends on the player's overall style. Re: Starfleet Finale
Bili doesn't retard anything, 'cause he can eat through rock. diva and I were actually able to speed the last game up by a day or so, so we didn't retard nuthin'. ksen already signed up for your mythical game. So you must be talking about gib?
