I will always apply a meta to players that fails to capture a player playing at being a slimy scum. That definition of slimy is something that is unique to my mind and I won't be elaborating on it.

Also, everyone, timing tells based on how long someone has been lurking here, posting on TR or whatever, are stupid, and I highly recommend everyone go on private mode immediately to stop it.

The problem with your suggestion is that previous GMs who are still functional and if they are playing can see if certain players are still active. It automatically shows up.

No we can't. Not at Ratz and not at TR (though we give/remove GM access with every game there). At ratz, the GMs' enhanced access doesn't extend to seeing who is online. the regular mods and admins have that ability, I think.

Time tells and 'what is the third word in your role PM ?' aren't in the spirit of the game . I'm not going to hide! If someone wants to lurk in the who is online bit to see if I'm sending a PM then why are they bothering to play mafia when they are far more suited to on-line stalking . You can assume if my PC is on then I'm logged on rationalia I might very well be next door getting drunk or playing games if you spot me sending a PM just before daybreak It doesn't mean I'm sending a night action I'm likely just to be sending Irre a picture of my willy ( comedy example not to be taken seriously !)

I use thermal imaging from public-access satellite feeds, myself. That's how I know Feck goes to the fridge and bathroom a lot, and how I knew right off that Bilirubin wasn't really a Horta.

'Tis why I hand-write every PM. Luckily, players know that about my games by now; enough so that these things do not hold any water.

Am I crazy, Bili? I am not as experienced as you guys, and again, maybe it varies from site to site, but town will usually answer the question that they ask when it is generally based.

As in: "What timezones are the peeps on here in? It would greatly help my game play. I am in MST, in case anybody is wondering." <----pro town.

I don't know that "usually" is all that usual, either by intent or by accident.
