Not yet. I'm going to sometime in the next few days while I'm out enjoying other people's A/C.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

You could add me as a contact over at Flickr or something.

That way I could keep track when you upload new photos.

I did, about month ago.

At Flickr?

I have to go look.
-------------------------------------------------------

I am at work and don't remember my sign in info. I can see my contacts and none of them are a Robert.
There would be a Flickr mail notification that I can't access because I can't sign in.

Did I add you?

I will check when I get home.

My mother sent me this today

A WOMAN'S POEM:

Before I lay me down to sleep,
I pray for a man, who's not a creep,
One who's handsome, smart and strong.
One who loves to listen long,
One who thinks before he speaks,
One who'll call, not wait for weeks.
I pray he's rich and self-employed,
And when I spend, won't be annoyed.
Pull out my chair and hold my hand.
Massage my feet and help me stand.
Oh send a king to make me queen.
A man who loves to cook and clean.
I pray this man will love no other.
And relish visits with my mother.

A MAN'S POEM:

I pray for a deaf-mute gymnast nymphomaniac
Who owns a bar on a golf course near a mountain stream,
And loves to send me fishing and drinking. This
Doesn't rhyme and I don't give a shit.

What men look for-----------what girls look for?

Did you make this yourself?

The center one doesn't show anything to look at. Should have used one of the Weiner pics.

Sexism is always topical, Charlou. Here it is the country's third favourite pastime - behind fishing and casual racism.

The 'battle of the sexes' crap that gets dragged into so many threads is tiresome. The casual 'racism' was also noted.

This area is for serious discussion ... would be good if it could be kept derail free, too. I've reported the posts as off topic ... along with the off topic posts about photography and flicker.

I know some members think (and state) rationalia is a playground and any thread is fair game for cheese, bacon and bollocks, and have a notion that the forums are some kinda facebook-ish arena to have chit chatty conversations, even in serious threads, with the notion that everyone's going to be interested .... but not all of us agree.

An here I thought Coito's picture was a visual aid to help babies figure out what sex and race they want to be.

There is no shortage of other threads the comments can be moved to. I dont care what happens to mine.
But isn't talking about OT posts and thread derails OT and a derail?
