All of the above - plus 'gambler' - except they are onto a sure thing. People buying up stuff that is essential for ordinary people which in turn drives up the price, which in turn is passed on to us. Diminshing resource doesn't help. Although with gas the price is tagged to il and known reserves are unknown.
