Neil Kinnock and the Labour Party were a real danger to the world and the country, and had to be stopped.
And stop them she did. And she took on the unions and beat them, which had to be done, and which the labour party would never have done.
I hate the woman, but I would vote for her again, in the same situation.
She brought this country back to reality.

What's done is done - who knows the infinite variable histories, the alternate paths without Thatcher at the wheel? What would be better and what worse? Who knows? We are were we are. Thatcher, along with Reagan, helped to foster the culture of deregulation that led to the fiscal crisis we face today. This could be the 'de-stressor' of the global capitalist system that also delayed WWIII, so what do we face now that deregulation is off the tracks - in todays global debt crisis?
