No, don't go. You're good at it. Stay and play.grit wrote:Yeah, that's it for me at Ratz, and Mafia in general I'm afraid. It was never my cup of tea anyway.oblivion wrote:grit, remind me to tell you about the time I outed the entire scum team to the seer in a pm-allowed game.
(I gave up mafia forever. can you tell?)
I hope no one feels badly about it. It was my mistake. No worries. Thanks for all the fish.
Ignore me, I'm just here for the Mafia.

Don't ragequit because you got godkilled
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

Re: Starfleet Mafia
Another question about game mechanics (since I'm full of them it seems): what is night chat? How does this work, what can I expect, etc.?

Re: Starfleet Mafia
it just means we can keep posting after the day end post and wrap-up from zigmen... just kind of the same, only without voting to lynch
some players just never bother... oblivion likes to think out loud, given she is quite often a NK target

Re: Starfleet Mafia
What, so I can trolley-track your scummishness here? Really, Aza, that seems a total scum move on your part and colours your play here. Would you have rather I simply handed out the password as asked? That's what you did in fingering the game. That no one may listen to me now is my fault, but your move seems just to gain town cred and Ratz preference. But if the GM allows, I don't ragequit, I try to stand by my commitment; I just won't post at Ratz after this game. I'll even try to continue to play the game fairly, though it'll be difficult not to see "scum" in everything you post. And that's not a rage post either, at least not to me.Azathoth wrote:

Re: Starfleet Mafia
Grit, I don't understand quite why you were godkilled on another site. I guess that's something for the after-game discussion. Aza is perhaps the strictest game mod of all game mods.
I doubt anyone is holding any prejudice against you in this starfleet game, though

Re: Starfleet Mafia
What Irre said. And I haven't given Aza a "Town Pass" based on what he did. FWIW I think he did the best thing he could to preserve his own game while still allowing you to play this game as though nothing happened here. It would have been better if you had made that choice yourself, no question, but you're still in one game.grit wrote:What, so I can trolley-track your scummishness here? Re: Starfleet Mafia
Well, I'm sorry I think you might be scum this game. I'll let you spit on me if you like. But I still don't like needles.
Re: Starfleet Mafia
GM: Would you please consider busting out the night posts from the day posts as a separate thread? Approaching 30 pages here, which makes it difficult to navigate.
Re: Starfleet Mafia
Mostly the games here run smoothly Maybe the term 'Godkill' has gone to their heads ..or Maybe you are a Jinxgrit wrote:LOL, I'm starting to think every Mafia game at least needs a Jr. GM, back-up GM, or a GM sounding board for this kind of thing - maybe a GM's anonymous lodge. Forgive me, I know there are valid justifications for thinking otherwise, but I still think it was Aza who broke both games over my stupid mistake. But, hey, that was his stupid mistake too. We all make them. If the GMs hadn't gotten so jumpy, everything would likely be fine in both games.
