I'm sorry. I just didn't buy this woman was supposed to be automatically evil because she was a hag. Ageism. That's all it is. Disney used to put more effort into their villains. This woman was just labeled as such in the short, opening bit of narration, about four mins long. Where was the character development?

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

Just saw "Pirates 4". Not on a scale with 3 by any means, but still, Penelope Cruz is holding up well for a cougar. :naughty:

Thor - Horrible Horrible movie
Winter's Bone - I liked it. Makes me glad I don't live anywhere remotely rural.
13 Assassins - I really liked it
I can live with doubt, and uncertainty, and not knowing. I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong. [...] I don’t feel frightened by not knowing things, by being lost in a mysterious universe without having any purpose, which is the way it really is, as far as I can tell, possibly. It doesn’t frighten me. - Richard Feynman

Feels like I was dragged through 90 minutes of tedious, piscean over-kill with the subtlety of a tapestry hand-woven by a horse just to get axe-kicked in the face on the final shot :nono:

I Sell the Dead. Fucking hilarious. Low budget film, but stylish and well made with a great cast and good acting. Plus funny as hell. Basic premise didn't make much sense to me, two guys selling corpses to a doctor for...what, exactly? Didn't care, though, because it was hilarious. Then their lot improves when they encounter a corpse that's undead, which turns out to be worth more money, as such a commodity is more valuable and sought after. Why? I've no fucking idea. But who cares? The film was hilarious. If you liked Shaun of the Dead, you'll probably like this.

The Good The Bad The Weird. A modern Korean take on the old Clint Eastwood film. Quite a wild ride. Very cool, lotsa action, and very funny. If you liked Kung Fu Hustle, you'll probably like this.

Don't you know your history, dude?

People used to sell fresh corpses to doctors so they could dissect them to find out how they work. This was before people donated their body to science. It used to be illegal to dissect bodies.

Well I figured that, although it was never explicitly stated. But I couldn't work out why zombies would be more valuable.

The preview trailers on these IFC Films DVDs always show something interesting. Now I want to check of Five Minutes of Heaven, Dead Snow, Pontypool, and The Human Centipede.
