There's a vast difference btw someone who threatens the death of millions and who has the power to carry the threat through and someone who threatens the death of millions and who has no power.
Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies. ~ Marx

Do you really think it is weakness that yields to temptation? I tell you that there are terrible temptations which it requires strength, strength and courage to yield to. ~ Oscar Wilde

For the purposes of whether the person has committed a crime sure, but not for whether you let them in a country. Entering someone else country is never a right (unless you have international treaties with open borders) or are an asylum seeker (again international law).

The British government is well within it rights to refuse entry to anyone it considers to be a general tosser which Michael Savage surely counts as

There is an element of this, although muslim extremists make up the bulk of the banned list.

We've also seen some definition creep where people have been (like Phelps) for their anti-homosexual speech, even though the established religion is fairly outspoken on the same subject. But then coming to England is a Privilege not a Right.

One problem we do have is that we have let in a lot of people who would not be considered undesirable and it's too late to send them away. Another thing is the HRA, which was used astonishingly to allow muslim terrorists to stay in the country last year. This was done on the basis that now their home country knew they were terrorists they were at danger of torture by their own country so therefore they were allowed to stay in the UK!

Some of it too is the risk to public order, which unfortunately feeds into the hands of muslim extremists, as when Geert Wilders was banned from the UK after a Muslim member of the Second House (House of Lords) threatened a mass disorder from muslims, so Wilders was banned (later overturned).

But Savage sounds like a cunt so who cares if he can't get in? fuck him.

you're referring to the United States, in which case any immigration regulation and any attempt to identify and remove persons illegally within our borders constitutes a violation of human rights.... I find it funny that to a person, most folks were comparing efforts on the part of the US to check people's immigration status to Nazism and fascism, but the UK doesn't want to let someone in because he espouses the wrong ideas, and it's perfectly reasonable....

I doubt if anyone has a human right to enter the US ( bar asylum under international law), there may be procedures in deporting them once they have gone past immigration but thats a totally different matter

The UK has the legal right to refuse to allow any alien into the country for any reason if they consider not in the countries best interest the exceptions being asylum or other international agreements (EU).
