Here's one for you: Osama is still alive and being tortured for information and/or shits and giggles right now.

Prove me wrong!
What's ironic is that many of the same people that are claiming this newest conspiracy theory originally blamed 9/11 on Bush...so tell us, conspiracy theorists, when did you decide that OBL was responsible for 9/11? At least keep your bullshit straight.
What conspiracy theories are you talking about? I haven't muddled my way through the whole thread, someone is claiming Osama is still alive? I'm not sure what you're talking about Maiforpeace. I, personally, have no "theory" about any of this other than the official line of the US government is a lie.

Not much a theory really, more like speculation. I guess you made it sound like more than it is...then I watched realtime and saw you were just quoting Bill. Still don't know what he was talking about either really. Even if someone claimed Bush was responsible for the airplane action in 2001 what does that have to do with the same person speculating about the assisination of Bin Laden? Makes no sense.
Our struggle is not against actual corrupt individuals, but against those in power in general, against their authority, against the global order and the ideological mystification which sustains it.

I don't get how Obama could have announced with a straight face that Osama was living in a "million dollar compound." He lived in a shack for fuck's sake...

Nitpicking here, but was it actually Obama who used the term "million dollar compound"? :ask:

It was somewhat large, anyway. :dunno:

It was a dump. In Pakistan. I wonder what the real estate market is like in Abbottabad. And, if it was a million dollar compound, why did he have a 19 inch analog t.v., ffs?

And, I thought I heard a replay of a quote from Obama saying it today. I'll try to verify.

The 19" TV is actually his best choice over there, they're a bit shy of HD and digital signals. I'll bet his computer monitor was bigger. (Mine is 24" diagonal.)

Anybody got Lat/Long for that shack, btw?

Maybe he meant Guyanese Dollars. That's about US $5000. :hehe:
