I took AP classes in finger painting and eating lead chips.

Welcome! One of our members, Pluto2, is from the northern side of Michigan (not the U.P. though). And I went to The Ohio State University. Nice to have you here. 8-)

I was just in the UP recently. First on a native reservation in Harris (about 40 miles N of Escanaba), then in Grand Marais on the shores of mighty Lake Superior. The UP is a beautiful place.

I'm also new, but, for what it's worth, welcome!
