Oh, well, duh. That's the law now. It's called "loss of consortium." And, it makes perfect sense. If someone is negligent and injures your husband - say in a negligent mining accident that leaves your husband paralyzed - they have not only injured the husband but also the wife, by depriving her of consortium with the husband. She has a cause of action against the negligent mining company as a result. Why wouldn't she? The ability to have sex is a valuable hedonic damage.
