Re: lol @ American law enforcement
Talk to a chap? Without confirming if he can trace his ancestors back to the Norman invasion? Are you stark staring mad?
Re: lol @ American law enforcement
Nah. We love mutton and wool clothing, so we take care of our sheep herds. Not necessarily any particular individual sheep mind you, but we do look after the vitality and economic value of the herd as a whole.MrJonno wrote:Sheep contribute to society even if its just as wool or meat libertarians just try to destory itGallstones wrote:This doesn't make any sense.MrJonno wrote:Better a sheep than a parasite on society.
It's a concept and Libertarian value you're unfamiliar with called "rational self-interest."

Of course they all are, they are also closet gays.Gallstones wrote:Coito ergo sum wrote:I don't agree with that notion of the UK. I met a British gentleman a little over a week ago. He was passing through on his way to Seattle and staying with friends in town. They brought him to the bar. I found him rude. He didn't speak to me or look at me at all. Despite having been introduced he ignored me and he ignored my dog. What Brit ignores a dog?
I'm sure they aren't all like that.

I don't know... I can't even trace my Scottish ancestry precisely to James III or IV, and even though I'm pretty sure My Norman ancestors have been there since Rollo and were in the crusades, they really appear in the picture no earlier than 1599.Clinton Huxley wrote:Talk to a chap? Ah, I thought CH was talking about me being Gallic. I was offended. Now that it appears he was slurring you, well then I have no complaint.Svartalf wrote:Viking, me? I can get back to about 1600 with documents, but most everything before that was lost in the Blitz when Hitler bombed Edinburgh and destroyed the archives. I could do some parish church records research, but I have a lot of trouble trying to read old English script and haven't had the time. Maybe one of these days I'll get back to Scotland with some more time on my hands.Svartalf wrote:I don't know... I just go right ahead and assume I'm a Pict, so I rub blue mud in my belly button once a year, put on my kilt and go throw telephone poles and rocks around.
