could you explain this?
IMO irre's last 2 posts indicate she's quit trying to kid us along that she's town.
Yep ... that's what I'm thinking: she's on holiday so her mind's not fully on the game ... That would explain her contradictory posts yesterday too.

Which reminds me .. need to look for that one I thought gib had mentioned ...

I'm fully armed. UT, take your vote off and use it more wisely.

crosspost charlou.

I don;t know, but I through out any notion of anything typical in this game.
how are you fully armed? you haven't got any night points so you won't be armed until this days end, unless you have some points we haven't seen.

At present I have 7 points. 4 from previous days and 3 votes today. Yours was the 7th.

Is scum bomb a typical mafia role?
there was a scum bomb in the Simpsons mafia game. It was Animavore, and he bombed his first lynch voter on the day he was lynched.

I remember this very clearly :D I put the first vote on him, took it off, put it back on later, and Denny blew up instead of me.

Feck was setting me up to be the next lynch, but I think Irre (SK) night killed me that night. Too bad, because I was looking forward to fighting that lynch. :tut:

what do people think of gonzo's thought about there being a scum with a bomb proof vest? Personally I don't see it, just seems unfair to town, because if ours didn't mention it we wouldn't know about the possibility and wouldn't have taken anyone up to ten. Which also makes me wonder again why gonzo outed. If scum don't have one, they wouldn't have known to take him to ten. that would have been one town that basically was guaranteed to make it to the end.

UT, Irre and Diva have votes on me.

Irre is scum. I've been saying this for days.
I apparently started a campaign against her (her words).
She has been pushing for me to be lynched.

Give me a break UT. Either you are scum or you are having a brain fade.

Having read back over day three, I'm inclined to believe Gonzo and MZ's claims.

I really don't know. we apparently have all these bizarro specials that can't out and easily clear themselves with night actions, and I'm having a hard time figuring out how I would balance this game with what I can see of the design so far.

Town bombs are not as hazardous as paranoid gun owners. they kill killers, not anyone with a night action who targets them. they are more likely to harm scum than town because usually the vig doesn't get off a kill every night (they die, or they hold off if they aren't sure who to target). but there will be a scum kill attempt every night, barring some serious subterfuge.

A scum bomb will only hurt town. scum won't target each other (barring some serious subterfuge in game set up like this one...). So yeah, does seem like a bastard role.

I think I believe their claims.

trying to figure out how dangerous that trust could be.

and also thinking it may be a lost cause convincing other town to extend some benefit of the doubt for at least a day.

mz, i'm good at mafia because I don't jump to conclusions as fast as some people. You for instance are positive that scum knew you were the town bomb and also knew exactly how your abilites work. How would scum know that? For what it's worth mz I think you probably are town, and your whole idea about spreading the votes around so that you could put points on them if they attacked you fits your playstyle. It's just the way you outed means that you nullified your use to town while raising questions about your motives. You did something exactly opposite of what your role should have you doing, this means that we can't take a chance on you. So my vote is probably going to stay unless we come up with a very comprehensive plan of action and it's needed elsewhere.

even though he already has enough votes on him to be armed at nightfall?

that's what he's arguing against. as far as we know, you are putting an unneeded vote on him. you could put it somewhere else and actually make a difference in how many armed players we have at nightfall.

I can't find it ... Now I'm not sure if it was gib who noted it, or someone else. I know someone quoted and commented on a second example of a contradiction irre had made, and I'm pretty sure it was day or night three.

well like I just said in my long post to mz, the problem is they both outed in a way that is counter intuitive to their roles. Those are two roles that only help scum by outing and yet both of them do it when under no pressure? I mean mz, gonzo answer this one simple question: Would town be better off if you had kept quiet? I think the answer is yes, gonzo would still be alive at endgame because I can't see town or scum wasting anymore votes on him. And with mz it's a definite yes because they're still night actions left and who knows what scum were thinking of targeting. now instead of maybe giving some points to scum, mz has made it so that any night action they were going to use on him will be aimed at another town.
