Do other people think of their codewords as being so?
ie, not common words, like authorized.
mine's fairly common in america, less so in england

Why is it that no one is wondering why gib is doing nothing but mouth others posts? Gib if your reply to my post was the best you can do, no wonder you're not applying original thought to the game. As for my absence, its been noted well in advance to some others. I was traveling, but now I'm settled in to the holiday apartment (Sydney harbor views).

Mantis' game is really off. I'm mostly caught up but am on iPad and can't keep my spreadsheet up to date any more. I'll be around but not posting as much as I'm on holidays and have zoos to visit and stuff like that.
Was just rereading the thread and thinking it's only been MZ, ob and I posting since daybreak ... then noticed this post. Not a contribution to the game, really.
Indeed. I'd have to say that Irre, your game is off a bit, which really makes me think you are scum. There were a few discrepancies noted yesterday in your posting. The first one being congratulating MZ for 'sleuthing' out Feck & the authorized word... and there was something else as well... just don't remember what it was. MZ? Were you the one to bring it up? Or does anyone else remember?
I think it was gib who found one while he was going through the posts during nightfall?
remind me pls

I was bumped up to 8 points last night with no PM with explanation as to why. I am guessing that was either my punishment for editing or the scum know more about my role than they should, to be as discrete as possible.

I have not read through the thread yet, so I am not ready to vote.
Don't go near that elevator - that's just what they want us to do... trap us in a steel box and take us down to the basement.

in the nightfall post, zigmen said the mild punishment or w/e had already been levied. I have no idea what that means, but it suggests that anything that happened last night was not related to your edited post.

Mine is two words.
My guess would be they are unrelated to each other.

But zigmen promised puzzles.

Authorized... marine... pick-axe

What does that mean?

Thanks!

So and this is directed at anyone, if that is the case why would scum leave charlou or anyone they think is special under 7?
so what are the thoughts on this re charlou, it makes no sense to leave her under 7.

We're on Day 4

So Nights 1,2 and 3.

Night 1, +4
Night 2, she protected herself ???? maybe they tried and failed with +1
Night 3, they could go again so went somewhere else.

Just one scenario that springs to mind.

Mantisdreamz wrote:I've changed my mind about UT as well. First day, I thought he was town -- something changed that and was suspicious of him. After reading his posts, yesterday, I really think he is town.

It's true that Irre seemed to be whiteknighing gib a fair bit, which is why I thought that if she were scum, he might be as well. And same thing - after reading his posts yesterday, he seems townish too.

What's odd though, is that Feck has not really said much about his codeword. We all seem to agree that the authorized thing was his codeword, but he didn't come out and say, yes you are correct guys. He didn't tell us if it was incorrect either..... why?
This really looks like mining to me. Are you pressuring Feck to confirm that 'authorized' is his codeword?

It should be obvious that there are reasons not to confirm our exact code, even if it has been dropped by the GM. I am supposing that full codewords are valuable to the town in that they can be used to catch others lying about their point value and valuable to scum in that they can figure where our letter correlates to that point value in order to arm each vest.

So do you believe Feck has lied about his point value and if so what has led you to believe that? Otherwise, what use is it to you to know?
