Yes she does! I think that last game on here was like playing 5 games in one. :?

Tis true! I did learn a lot.

I owe an apology to MSG at some point.

OK, so the state of play isn't so much different to how it was when I went to bed last night.
We need to decide whether or not to hand out votes, I think. Someone suggested spreading the votes around evenly. This could work well. Otherwise, I got nothing.

One thing is for sure - not voting will not bring us an advantage. So I guess I will start.

vote Aza
until I see a change from prompting a mass claim. IMO it is the worse thing the town can do.
Don't go near that elevator - that's just what they want us to do... trap us in a steel box and take us down to the basement.

No spreading of votes , it helps scum get people ,there is no way for town to remove votes (well maybe a town role might remove one vote ) but for example if we get to end game on day 4 and 4 town players have 4 votes them on the last day 4 scum members could 'arm' the bombs of those town members in one last day and steal the game .

(Bolero I want to play scum games with you :naughty: LOL)

I'm going to put a vote on UT for asking about town not voting.
This question would appear to be a scum trying to understand town's motivation.
Howvever it is an opening gambit to get things rolling.
1 vote UT

1 vote charlou
for asking all the right questions and having some answers

These are the other mayor votes still down.

If you guys aren't pretty sure you've picked a townie, I think it would be better to wait a bit.
unvote

i'm up to the post where you say meta is going to be important, 2nd that

also, feck is definitely on to something, will read the rest now

Are you coming on to me? :ddpan:

All I'm thinking, in terms of vote-spreading, is that we could do it for the first day, then after N1 we might have more info and could change tactics accordingly.

spreading votes out is a bad idea IMO. Look for objectively scummy stuff, or for meta that indicates an anti-town orientation and focus on those players.

This convo from page 3 is interesting:
Azathoth wrote:I think this is a game where a day one massclaim should work. Scum will be gunning for the specials but it doesn't matter because they don't die until the end. Better to have them out in the open.

hmmm ... I'd considered that idea ... but dismissed it because scum can pile their votes on the specials ... but you're right in that that wouldn't affect the role of the specials through the game, it would only mean that the specials are among those town guaranteed to explode at end game. This would be a difficult decision for specials to make because all specials will need to agree without being able to discuss the idea in some way first for fear of drawing attention to themselves. There's also the possibility of false claims by scum, though those will soon become apparent through the system of voting. hmmm ...
charlou wrote:Actually, all specials wouldn't have to agree - there's no need for a mass claim as such. It really can be up to the discretion of the individual, and still be useful.
charlou wrote:Wait a minute .. it's not specified in the rules what the circumstances are regarding specials and their ability to perform when they've accrued points. It may be that they can no longer perform night actions once their vest becomes armed.

A mass outing is a terrible Idea the GM's said they would find a way to stop that working ,also you have no way of checking if someone makes a fake claim and you have no idea of the roles
So Aza brought up the idea, and Charlou explored it a little, and found a reason to think it's a bad idea.

Feck, do you find Charlou's part of this convo more scummy than Asa's?
