Notwithstanding my comment re Charlou, there's this.

A post from divagreen yesterday got me thinking. Now this could be more of my wild paranoiac speculation, (and who knows, praying may show up today to tell me so,) but:

Given the murder weapon was a Sunfolk dagger, then someone who is one of the Sunfolk is potentially in the frame as Serial Killer.

There are 2 players still around whose outed roles are Sunfolk – Leetah (me) and Rayek (Bolero.)

In my case, my role PM didn’t say I was Sunfolk, only that I was the lifemate of Cutter (chief of the Wolfriders – Nelliken), so I was surprised today to discover I was listed amongst them. That’s not wifom – I am the outed doc and I am not the Serial Killer.

I can see 2 flavour scenarios that would make Bolero a credible Serial Killer. One is that the win condition is to eliminate all non-Sunfolk, which might explain why Bolero was keen for everyone to out their tribe allegiances on Day 3 (?) The other is this:

I think I'll withhold my vote for a bit & see if this makes sense to anyone else. I have to say Bolero hasn't looked the scummiest of the uncleared players (that would be you, praying ), but still...

I had log in issues yesterday that raven can verify because I contacted her. I did in fact ask her to let you folks know.

The post just pinged for me, I can't really explain why but it did, then I remembered you were a claimed special so I unvoted.

When a bandwagon was threatening around Linus on Day 3, he announced he had a 1-shot day kill, which he then used to take out zigmen, the scum role-blocker. It's hard not to see that as a town move when scum were already down 2 players, including the don.

or a move to get town cred.

Feck, Denny, here's a history lesson.

I protected myself night 1.

UT outed day 2, as did irre. Because there was talk of Irre giving a boomerang that would switch UT with someone else, scum sent their roleblocker against him, & tried to NK Feck, who I protected. Bad decision by scum, it turns out.

I outed late on night 2, too late for scum to kill me.

Night 3 I was given the option of protecting myself or UT. There were other options too, but obviously I did not protect Irre, and could not protect Feck for the second time in a row.

Night 4 - 2 outed town specials, 1 night kill. Scum flips a coin, & loses.

When you do the maths, the odds of me being alive are better than 50%.

I gave my reasons for not revealing who I protected on nights 3 & 4, but if it stops all this paranoiac fosing I will out it. As I said before, it is most likely scum/SK already knows.

It only works once , I'm curious if Irre gave another item to someone before her death ?
also MSG did you protect someone because I cannot understand why you are not dead , you have outed as the doc if I were scum you would have been my target of choice last night .

Feck, if you recall, toward the end of day 3 I asked for options on who to protect that night. Irre suggested either UT (the outed seer) or me as the outed doc, so scum then targeted irre.

I don't need to tell you who I protected on night 3 or night 4, but scum / SK probably knows who it was last night because their kill failed. In all probability that person will die on night 5 because I can't protect them twice, but on the off-chance the killer took a night off, or chooses to target someone else, there's no reason for me to show my hand today.

Your bolded comments seem to be at odds, and you know the meme lynch all liars.

Why did you not indicate on day 3 that you could not protect yourself since you had done it on night one, according to you?

I don't know UT, the knife that killed MZ was "hauntingly familiar". That description seems more SK than scum to me. I think it might be possible that it was a hint that the SK is maybe elf or half-elf even.

i really doubt we have any specials left in hiding. Could we have a mass outing of character roles please. Maybe we can find something in the flavor. Yes i know that bad guys have safe names, but i'd kind of like to see them all anyway.

I'm sorry, that was poorly worded. As is normal with a doc, I cannot protect the same person two nights in succession. I believe that was what I said when I outed on night 2.

I am suspicious of a couple of exchanges between her and Denny last night, where he was expressing doubt about the town specials, especially me. Both times within minutes she was jumping on the bandwagon and supporting him. It looked like they were working together.

Oh, please. After the Aza lynch, around 5 AM yesterday my time, oblivion announced that "If all the night actions are in early enough, I'll start the next day at Midnight GMT/8 PM US ET instead (6 hours from the time of this post)." About 20 minutes before that time, I asked if the day would start early (and it did.) By what credible stretch do you produce a fos from this? Of course I knew ONE night action had gone in - mine.

Snap, Denny, I am with you on that one. I think the serial killer is lying about their role. I think UT is legit (even though I am telling you he plays a wicked scum), Feck's choice of avatar sounds strangely plausible. My FOS is firmly on MSG. He is being too agreeable that one should just "take it for the team". Is he offering himself up for the chopping block?

No, I'm just doing the numbers and pointing out that if Town keeps its nerve and removes the uncleared players, Town wins. Including the lynched players.

But that makes me wonder...is it possible that the indie can recruit and start a secret third cabal?
