MSG wrote:Notwithstanding my comment re Charlou, there's this.
A post from divagreen yesterday got me thinking. Now this could be more of my wild paranoiac speculation, (and who knows, praying may show up today to tell me so,) but:
Given the murder weapon was a Sunfolk dagger, then someone who is one of the Sunfolk is potentially in the frame as Serial Killer.
There are 2 players still around whose outed roles are Sunfolk – Leetah (me) and Rayek (Bolero.)
In my case, my role PM didn’t say I was Sunfolk, only that I was the lifemate of Cutter (chief of the Wolfriders – Nelliken), so I was surprised today to discover I was listed amongst them. That’s not wifom – I am the outed doc and I am not the Serial Killer.
I can see 2 flavour scenarios that would make Bolero a credible Serial Killer. One is that the win condition is to eliminate all non-Sunfolk, which might explain why Bolero was keen for everyone to out their tribe allegiances on Day 3 (?) The other is this:
No greater love could ever be demonstrated than that of Rayek's absorption of Winnowill's spirit to save both her and the World of Two Moons. Rayek could not risk Winnowill seizing control of the Palace. He now wanders the world with Ekuar, wearily fulfilling his job as both Winnowill's jail and jailer.
When the Djun's people rebelled and his Citadel fell, he killed Winnowill, not knowing that to kill the body was to release her to even more power and disaster. Winnowill's spirit left her body, but before it could fill the shards with her hate, Rayek drew it inside himself, trapping her. Rayek now roams the World of Two Moons, an exile from his own race, keeping Abode safe from the evil spirit of Winnowill, which he contains within himself.
I think I'll withhold my vote for a bit & see if this makes sense to anyone else. I have to say Bolero hasn't looked the scummiest of the uncleared players (that would be you, praying ), but still...
vote msg is my response this whole post reeks of bad news for town
and who are you msg, do you post at tr?
A revenge vote praying? When I haven't even voted?
Where were all day yesterday? One measly post once Aza had been outed as non-elf?
And why does my whole post reek of bad news for town?[/quote]
MSG, I thought the post of yours that Praying quoted seemed 'off' .. something about the emphasis on there being an SK and you not being it ... This post I've quoted is oddly worded too ... Why call Praying's vote a revenge vote?
Re the part I've bolded: You were playing yesterday so you should have known Praying had a posting restriction.
The really odd thing is Praying answering the bolded question before you asked it.
To clarify: Praying answered your question at the bottom of page one, then unvoted you at the top of page two using words that look like she's responding to a cue ... before you posted the question on page two.

Nevermind, I reread the relevant stuff again ... I now see that Praying had the posting restriction on day 3 and you were asking about her lack of activity on day four.

Fair questions. I responded to praying putting a vote on me on a very flimsy basis, but I missed the fact that she had straight away taken the vote off. In hindsight I would have been better to shut up and not post that.
Praying did not have a posting restriction on day 4, unless I missed something. On day 3 she was unable to post or vote after being wounded on night 2. Although Day 4 finished early, she was able to skate under the radar and make just the one post, voting for Aza.
Feck wrote:It only works once , I'm curious if Irre gave another item to someone before her death ?
also MSG did you protect someone because I cannot understand why you are not dead , you have outed as the doc if I were scum you would have been my target of choice last night .
Feck, if you recall, toward the end of day 3 I asked for options on who to protect that night. Irre suggested either UT (the outed seer) or me as the outed doc, so scum then targeted irre.
I don't need to tell you who I protected on night 3 or night 4, but scum / SK probably knows who it was last night because their kill failed. In all probability that person will die on night 5 because I can't protect them twice, but on the off-chance the killer took a night off, or chooses to target someone else, there's no reason for me to show my hand today.
Denny, what were the circumstances of your one shot kill .. ie was it GM bestowed, or a gift? If you've already answered this question, can you link to your answer, please.
It was not specified where it came from. I assume it came from the GM.
