Ok that makes sense, and I'm sorry that I slept through nightfall.

But still -- you're talking about ME not Denny. You were waiting for his contributions last night. then this morning you put a vote on him with no commentary at all. What about his posts strikes you as scummy?

A big red flag for me is when players defend me. I've been told over and over again that I always appear scummy. There's no point in changing it. I play the way I play. But Denny, who I think I've been scum with twice, has this insight in to my play that is that this is my town game, going completely against the grain.

Sometimes I act on it. I did when I read his night chat.

And I recognise it because I do it myself when scum. I will defend players who I know are town. Although I won't be doing that again in a hurry.

And I am very undecided about you Oblivion. I don't have much experience with your scum game and I would have expected it to have improved somewhat.

What do you think about Denny?

I usually have a similar reaction to being whiteknighted, so that resonates a little.

Nobody has much experience with my scum game, including me. I just know that my scum game sucks because I usually am the first on my team to be lynched.

I have a feeling that charlou is either scum or her head is in the same place mine is.

because it was where I was planning to put my vote at that point. which is why I said she's either scum or she had the same thoughts I had at that point.

anyway. right now I feel that there are some strong reasons to think that both MZ and Denny are scum, but I'm finding reasons to doubt my reads, particularly with MZ. So, I've unvoted and am trying to get more info.

Whe have a bunch of people who haven't even posted in the day 2 thread yet that I'd like to hear from. Zigmen and Callan in particular.

What about DP? He dropped a vote on Feck. He'd been viewing at which point I asked him a question. Then he disappeared for a while. Then came back with that vote on Feck. A bit one dimensional to only go after one player. Is it scummy though?

I thought he was more involved on day 1 than he typically is when he's scum, but I'm not sure how much to weigh that.

Unless someone shows up soon, this is my last post for the day. Monday morning will be hectic as usual and i won't reach work before the cut off time.

I could really use more input from a few people. What do people think of Oblivion today. Back to her usual self? Town town town all the way. I'm beginning to be persuaded. But she's so fucking cool. Who knows. I went through the last game as vig having to make snap decisions about who to kill each night. I was crap at it. But I'm torn between sticking by a decision and being completely indecisive. This time I'll stick.

do you think a long winded answer would have indicated scumminess? Or the way a person says "yes". Ob is right in that it is really just fluff.

I think it has to do with the flavor of the game.
There are "twist" in this game so ya never know.

This exchange tops my ping list.

Reading back, it's fairly easy to understand that there was one giant thread for D1,N1, and D2. Oblivion made this obvious by asking Irre to link the posts that marked the transitions. By now, of course, D2 has its own thread and the point is moot.

But check out this exchange (above).

Denny popped in, claiming to still be three pages behind. 16 minutes later, he asks when daybreak is.

His reason for thinking we were still in nightfall? Evidently because we were still in the first thread, right?

So where was he "reading" for 16 minutes?

Well, last night should be a buzz of concern for the Scum team, and I'm sure their writeboard lit up like a christmas tree. They missed a kill, and have to figure out why.

reading his posts, nothing really pinged. I can see what you mean about one dimensional, but it is difficult it is to try and catch up on a game via cell phone.

Perhaps Charlou's head is not in this game as she was a replacement but she was active on the fourm with less than her normal effort scum hunting today. fos
