It didn't make me as angry as I thought it would, but it did make me angry. I felt bad for the kids. They seemed like decent kids, just being led astray by that horrible horrible woman.

But those letters are not silent.

Yeah, I just watched it and I mostly felt sad for the kids. There seemed to be an element of self-delusional complicity from the woman and others like Ted Haggard too, almost as if they know what they are doing is manipulative brainwashing, but never admit it to themselves.

I mentioned to Rachel last night that I'd love to see a follow up of this ten years on. The kids would have hit 20 and it would be very interesting to see how their individual lives turn out.
