That doesn't follow the logic by some of you to 'mayor vote' those who you want viewed. Voting someone who is at rusk of getting viewed is not a good choice for a recruit, imo.

This would mean Charlou/Contra is also Town.
Jerome is on his Town game. His Scum game is super obvious.
Denny is claimed Seer with no counterclaim. Recruited? It's possible. But he's got to be considered Town.

Why could MZ and Contra not be scum? I thought MZ was sus a couple days ago (feels like months) but it was refuted satisfactorily then.

What about Jerome's scum game makes it obvious? Just thinking you might be saying this to protect him as fellow scum.

You're right.

MZ/Charlou could still be Scum. But, Charlou/Contra is almost certainly Town. Here's why: A GM cannot take a former Scum player and put them back in the game as Town. They'd know who the remaining Scum were. So, it can't happen. There's an off chance that Charlou was initially Scum and got subbed back in as Scum, but the chances of that happening are very remote.

Jerome has a fatal flaw when he's Scum. Unless he completely altered his play-style for this one game, he's Town. It's remotely possible, except that Jerome is so predictable and stubborn to change. The "tell" is when he gets really snotty, he's Scum. He's always under pressure in every game. He either breaks or he doesn't. When he breaks, he's Scum. If he doesn't, he's Town. This has been 100% accurate in every game I've seen him play. I don't see how this game would be the advent of a completely new style for him.

Also, no offense, Jerome, but you have to admit I'm accurate in my take on this.

Denny, my priorities are to nab a cultist. I truly believe that they potentially have the upper hand at the moment. I'm also wondering if I want to out the killer aside from that. If they are wise they will attempt to take out a cultist's as well - someone who didn't look scummy before but does now. That's the only way they will have a chance at achieving their win condition at this point. If they are a 'vig' then they need to get it fucking right for once.

On the other hand I am equally concerned about the idea of an SK or 'vig' having been recruited. It seems painfully obvious to me who it most likely is which leads me to believe that a recruiter might have noticed the same things that I did.
Scum should be trying to take out a cult come night fall too if they are to have a chance as well. We as townies might have to ironically appeal to scum to work with us before we commense trying to take each other out once more. Both town and scum are pretty fucked otherwise if what I think is happening truly is.

Unless cultists get killed upon trying to recruit, we have a SK or 'vig'.

First, what is the possibility that Gallstones was MODKilled...does anyone think she directly quoted her PM or something to that effect? Also, only one known daykiller has happened. Do SK or vig's usually get a first kill on day one to get things started? We really need to discuss this. We have about 5 1/2 hours to properly summize things.

Thanks, that's a succinct post. Very annoying though as I was heading strongly for Jerome. Hmm.

Because Scum only makes up 20% or so of the opening roster. In a recruiter game, quite possibly less. Then, the next sub would have alsl had to have been Scum. 20% of 20% is 4%.

And that's before you figure that this was a recruiter game.

And I'm not sure that th recruiter role respawns indefinately. How could Town ever win if the recruiter respawned every night. I think that the recruiter was limited to one replacement.

It is now that it's been explained to me, but I didn't get it when I first read it. Lovers are usually of different alignments, so a vote for Jerome would almost surely get scum one way or another.

It's true that putting in former scum as scum might be rare, but it's not random so calculating the odds makes no difference. Subbing in a former player who was replaced by a sub would be rarer, in my opinion. tbh in a ghat game neither surprises me.

When the roles had gone out and day one just started I saw contra's comment that he wanted to play and I was thinking I'd rather watch so I asked aza to give him my spot.

When MZ needed a sub and no-one else stepped up, aza asked me .. I'd still rather be watching, but here I am. I'll do my best for town, just as MZ has been.

Charlou, it sounds like you gave out your spot after the roles had gone out. Why didn't you tell us that you never got a role?
