I can't imagine that contra would be scum given that he subbed for charlou and she is now back in the game. it would be very unusual for a gm to put former scum back *in* a game as town because of the knowledge they had as scum. I guess if contra and MZ are both scum some gm might do it. I think it is probably unusual to put someone who had someone sub for them once back in a game as a sub for someone else.

Even if we didn't know what denny's role was at all, it is clear from the description of UT's role that he was not a seer but a tracker. Read it again. I'm totally shaking my head that anyone could think UT was the seer. His role says nothing about finding out the alignment of a player, just whether they were "trolled" or not.

So, the mass out bugs me, I"ve been wondering about gonzo because of that. I know that it's more common in other sites and gonzo seems to play a different sort of mafia but still. Zigmen is the first one to start the stupid wifom about denny and it's weird how he's still so butthurt that I voted for him. I'm wondering about charlou too. MZ was seeming a little suspicious, and now with charlous subbing in i'm wondering if it was a scum to scum sub. That would take us to contra being scum though which I haven't actually analyzed.

Add the denny vote on to all that as well. She says she's been watching the game so she knows how that whole seer thing went down and now she's lynchvoting the outed seer.

No, I think I was the only player who initially made that mistake.

The suspicion on Denny, imho, is more based on his scummy-looking posts, conveniently useless views, and the knowledge that there is a recruitment factor in this game.

Fwiw, I do not think Denny should be killed today. If he's Town, he will get us another view (hopefully) and also tie up the Scum team to use a NK on him. If he's Scum, he will probably live and possibly give us a hint based on his next view.

In any case, I cannot see Denny as a safe player to have in the endgame. I'm sure he knows this and understands why.

lol. Do you think that denny's views kill the person he's viewed? That would certainly make the role useless. In a way, I wouldn't put it past AZA to make a warped seer role like that but I don't erally think he did.

I think a mass out is usually a bad idea. And it was suggested before you were out Zig. It causes specials to out. The suggestion made Gonzo seem scummy to me. I have no problem outing my role if that's an issue.

Actually, I am stumped between Nelli and Gonzo for lynch.

The only reason that I'm unsure about Gonzo is the fact that this is not the first time that he has either speculated about specials early in a game, prematurely given info about his own role, or encourage a mass outting as in this case.
I know this is meta based on the four prior games we have played together - the one time he was scum, I personally caught him and fwiw he didn't do this. He counterclaimed a town role that was convincing for a day. The relevant point regarding his false claim was that it was to save one scum that was being bused by another (it was Tranformers Mafia and Adem was 'Starscream' - his win condition was to betray Megatron). Gonzo was only false claiming to step in and perform damage control amid the confussion. He was Shockwave.

Anyway, back to THIS game, it is possible that Gonzo is either town or former town-now recruit but he is actually playing his town self but this only being his fifth game I can't help but wonder why he would make some of the same mistakes that nearly got himself killed as town.
