I don't think the American Indians wrote many documents and they were the ones that lost ?


British achieved their military objectives in 1812 (by stopping the repeated American invasions of Canada) and that Canada retained her independence of the United States. By contrast, the Americans suffered a defeat when their armies failed to achieve their war goal of seizing part or all of Canada. Additionally, the US lost as it failed to stop impressment, which the British refused to repeal, and the US actions had no effect on the orders in council, which were rescinded before the war started

Still claim a victory to your little side show to an Important war if you like

Yeah because nothing else was happening around that time FFS and when have you ever known a commander to admit that the important stuff was happening elsewhere ?

Tell me which of America's war aims did they succeed in ? they took no ground from Canada all they achieved was dead native americans .It must make you proud
