How about those infrequent posters from onother place not turn it into a shit on Seth thread, mmmmkay?
See the thing is you know you can't do it over there, how about you restrain yourself from doing it here?

Because I, unlike others, play within the rules. If the rules allow me to wail on Seth, in a non-personal-attack manner, then your complaint should be directed towards the FUA here.

Having said that, I haven't read the rule here for many months. Basically I'm acting in what I think is within the rules here.

Hypocrisy. There is a stench of it in the air.

This is one of those dental threads. It's like a sore and slightly loose tooth that isn't painful if I leave it alone, but I just can't seem to manage the leaving it alone part.
Random thoughts:

I don't care about the goods, bads, rights or wrongs of individuals on RatSkep. I don't think that any of the people who hang out here and don't post much on RatSkep care about that either. I make no judgements about anyone from RatSkep based upon what other people from RatSkep say on this board. I might a judgement or two about the person speaking based on their words.

If someone is talking shit about you here, chances are nobody is going to pay much attention to it unless you constantly draw attention to the fact that they've said it, thereby spreading the meme you wish to quell. Don't be such fucking trollbait unless you get some kind of enjoyment out of it.

Let me also remind you that there is no rule against trolling as such.

If Seth is a troll, then I think he's the grandmaster zen troll who trains his victims to troll themselves every time they think of him, thus dramatically reducing his workload.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

Could someone summarise in 50 words or less what this thread is about now?

Every word over 50 will result in some sort of evil admin punishment.*

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.
