People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

The first time I heard "music" like that was at the tattooist's. I started laughing out loud because I thought it was a joke, thought it must have been a joke, thought it couldn't be anything other than a joke. To my horror, my tattooist and another of the artists discussed its merits, and compared it to the other tracks which played in endless mind-numbing succession throughout my session. The other artist actually complained about one of the "songs" because the "singer" actually sung kinda normal for a bit before launching into the whole guttural grunting growl thing. He hated that shit, he said, because it was too pussified and not hardcore enough. I couldn't believe my ears. I couldn't believe that there was actual so-called music like this for one, and that people actually took it seriously for another, and actually considered it real music. My faith in humanity was deeply shaken that day.

"Like" covers a lot of ground. Let's say it's toward the lower end of the scale. "Like" as in I don't actively detest it. :shifty:

Still better than The Beatles, but then again, so's Bryan Adams so that's not saying much.

I would honestly, given the choice, listen to Bryan Adams. No trolling what-so-ever. I honestly do detest The Beatles that much. I don't know how they conned everyone, and I at least respect them for that, but considering their contemporary equivalent are McFly I'm amazed a boy band managed to get such kudos in a time full of such great music.

Back on the rooftop. There really is no doubt in my mind, as evidenced here, that The Beatles were the greatest pop band who ever existed. And Paul's voice here gives me the fucking shivers  :shiver:

John Lennon was a real hero of mine for a lot of years. He was the Beatle I identified with - we all had a 'favourite' and I was exactly the right age for the whole phenomenon when it happened. However I have to say that thinking more about it latrely, especially with all the fuss in the media around anniversaries etc. I am beginning to see a different side to John Lennon. He was arrogant for a start. He was politically niaive, despite trying from his own angle to make a difference back then and he was self indulgent. He clearly thought of himself as a genius and has said as much.

The Beatles were 'genius'. They changed the world I think without a doubt. But it was a collective thing. Maybe Lennon and McCartney might have been big as a song writing duo, but it was (excuse the pseud language) 'gestalt' of the Beatles that was transformational. None of them were remotely as good alone as they were as a group.

OK, Bryan adams is OK, but the rest is bullshit/trolling, either that or you know nothing about music.
P.S. Marty McFly? He could play the guitar, but in which universe?

Typical arrogant opinion of one in the majority. You can't believe that someone can honestly dislike a band which most people agree are great putting me into a serious minority and you try to claim I'm trolling or just wave it off by saying I know nothing about music when I probably listen to more genres of music than most people in here.
