Largest running time difference...

Post by Pappa » Tue Jan 25, 2011 1:25 am

What's the largest running time difference between the standard cut and director's cut in any film you've seen?

I just watched the director's cut of Underground. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114787/

Standard: 170 min
Director's: 320 min

That's 150 mins difference.

You got swizzed. I bet they sold the other half to someone else in the guise of a completely different film.

Das Boot had a standard release time of c. 150 minutes, and a director's cut time of 209 minutes. But there was also a six-part TV mini-series, with a total running time of 300 minutes.
