Raise my game?

Of course, the idea that it's not just worth buying probably does seem a little strange to you, but contrary to what your group therapist tries to tell you it really is okay to not like something.

I really enjoyed reading this over Xmas. Beautifully written observations about a walk around one particular loch in Scotland. Glass of port, some nibbles and this book? That's your evening sorted...

Notes from the Underground - Fyodor Dostoevsky.

For some reasons, he reminded me just a little bit of Lozzer.

Birds Without Wings by Louis de Bernieres. One of the best books I've ever read. Quite possibly will have you laughing and crying in the space of 3 pages.

Heinlein's "Friday" ain't bad, either.
"The internet is made of people. People matter. This includes you. Stop trying to sell everything about yourself to everyone. Don’t just hammer away and repeat and talk at people—talk TO people. It’s organic. Make stuff for the internet that matters to you, even if it seems stupid. Do it because it’s good and feels important. Put up more cat pictures. Make more songs. Show your doodles. Give things away and take things that are free." - Maureen J

It's a story about an autistic child whos dog is murdered and it follows him through his adventure to find the murderer. It's a really enjoyable and unique little story.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been recommending this book to everyone and you're the only other person I've come across thats actually read it! :D
We had to read it for English class and we usually read a bit a day for over two weeks but on the first day we got it I took my copy home and read the rest of it that night. I loved it. It was a great story with some fascinating views into an autistic childs mind.
... I recommend this:

Excellent ... cleverly humorous and achingly poignant approach to a lad coming to terms with death.
