And disregard the wise requirements of the government? I would never do such a thing...Federal Universal Waste Rule 40 CFR part 273 (Lamp Recycle Rule), and then we have to check our State laws and local city ordinances which may also cover recycling....gotta do it...wouldn't want to be a scofflaw...
Some states, like Maine, have recommended that the CFLs not be used in children's rooms, particularly infants and toddlers, because of the danger....gotta "protect the chill'run..." The gub'mint is certainly trustworthy in that regard...
