That's what they want you to think. It looks like an ordinary mashed inward horizontal stabiliser, but in fact it's a complicated nozzle spray system for ejecting road salt to control voters.

I get that the ACLU is worried about the precedent of censorship that this case represents - but... road salt? Seriously?

I suppose the terrorists can steal a bunch of sodium chloride and make mustard gas. I think. But... this is hardly an Orwellian tragedy. Sounds like a property owner pissed off that the smell of salt is in her backyard. A NIMBY issue for sure.
