What are you playing now?
Re: What are you playing now?
I can't say about the Xbox as I own a PS3, but if it's got the same type of connection, and I suspect there's a good chance it does, it's quite simple.
Just hook your cable/DSL to your modem then hook your modem to the Xbox. This is an RJ45(Land line type cable) connection on the PS3. If you're on a router or wireless device, I can't be much help.
As a last resort, you could also check out the manual that came with the console.
OT - I'm currently playing through Quake II for the eleventy-billionth time. It's been a good 8 or so years since I last played this one and it's still quite fun. The AI is about as sharp as a bag of wet mice though.
Also enjoying some GTR-Evolution, Red Dead Redemption and Need for Speed Carbon.

Plug the cable in.
If you're on wireless you'll need an xbox 360 wireless adapter.

I'm wild just like a rock, a stone, a tree
And I'm free, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I flow, just like a brook, a stream, the rain
And I fly, just like a bird up in the sky
And I'll surely die, just like a flower plucked
And dragged away and thrown away
And then one day it turns to clay
It blows away, it finds a ray, it finds its way
And there it lays until the rain and sun
Then I breathe, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I grow, just like a baby breastfeeding
And it's beautiful, that's life

I just finished the storyline missions from Assassins Creed Brotherhood. Another bloody cliffhanger.

I've been playing Black Ops a bit but I can't get into it, it's just not as good as MW2
Also playing Disgaea 3, it's a bit limited story wise but the combat is good.

Re: What are you playing now?
I was playing FFXIII again, but I'm at the end of the game and I'm not completely leveled up. I back-tracked some in an effort to do so, but got bored after a while. Maybe I'll finish the game again, maybe not. I've got Red Dead Redemption, will probably start that next. Not sure I want to get into another game right now though, since I've been doing a lot of writing lately, and some reading as well. If I want to pop in something quick and easy, I also have the Where The Wild Things are game

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

Re: What are you playing now?
Why didn't anyone tell me Red Faction: Guerilla was 3rd person
I was really hoping for some old school Red Faction multi-player to play online (last time was I played was on split-screen on PS2, a million times better than this malarkey). But instead I get a crap ass third person game with a lame multiplayer. Everyone just runs around like headless chickens shooting in every direction
My only consolation is that I got this from the library and it didn't cost me anything.

Red Faction Guerilla's 'win' comes in the form of SLEDGE HAMMER TO YOUR FACE.
Also, destruction of buildings. Both fairly epic.

Re: What are you playing now?
It seems the type of game which has a better one player than multi-player. I don't get why these developers can't make a good multi-player. I'm bored of COD. I want something new but none of the other games come close to COD. Players run around looking unnatural like they're running half an inch above the ground. The way they move is all wrong. You don't feel any satisfaction as you blow them away. It's just not on.

Re: What are you playing now?
I recently got Left4Dead 2.
Worth looking in to for a cheap multiplayer, co-op is great though there is a vs. mode as well if you feel so inclined. Satisfaction in tearing in to a Survivor as a hunter.

Re: What are you playing now?
I'm just after thinking. They had the Orange Box there. Is there a multiplayer on that?

I think I'll be in on Monday to drop this back and get that instead.
