Whoa, there, Loki! We've tried our best to honour you, not only by naming Mount Loki (below, on Baffin Island), but by placing a large cache of bacon on its summit...It's all yours... and welcomeLoki wrote:What? No bacon!

Re: Enough lurking
Hi all, thanks for the welcome
Frigg - Look up flyting, it's a sort of debate using cleverly structured abuse (Hitchens is quite good at it), all in jest.
Tyr - well jokes don't always come off, a proffesional hazard.
Freya - Was true though, anyways we made up after and she lent me her cloak.
Thor - moore flyting - I did help him get his hammer back when Prymr nicked it though.
Odin - well Odin and I were the same god for a while, and got on fairly well after the split. The eight-legged horse he rides is my kid (I'm Sleipnir's mother), and I didn't kill him, that was one of my other kids (Fenrir, my son, I'm his father I think).
Jörmungandr - another of my kids, there does seem to be a lot of them, being a shape-shifting god seems to have it's benefits.
Complicated and fractious bunch, us early Norse. I'd really like to know what drugs they were on, and where I can get some.
Loki is also a cool volcano on Io.

Don't let the cheesian fundies scare you away. The le bacon majority tend to be silent, probably due to refined breeding, but rest assured that you're surrounded by le bacon-loving brethren and sistern.Loki wrote:What? No bacon!

Sorry to trouble you, I'll be off then.

Re: Enough lurking
Welcome Loki. I hope you enjoy your stay. I do hope you forgive the fact I don't believe in you, just not enough evidence mind you. Nothing personal though.
I can live with doubt, and uncertainty, and not knowing. I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong. It doesn’t frighten me. - Richard Feynman

Welcome Loki. I hope you are more polite than your mate, Thor. He threatened me for calling him an insignificant godling. 1.98 octillion tonnes of thermonuclear power at my disposal and he threatened me with a fucking hammer! Delusions of grandeur that one.
