Right now, my top suspects for scum are Mort, dennyb and Normal.

I've probably lost track of everyone who has been "cleared" by irre or who think they have been cleared. and as I said before nightfall, I wouldn't be surprised if some people who have items are not town.
Let's focus on mort and dennyb, then =P

no, I think we're going to keep an eye on you normal. I tend to agree with oblivions list. even if she is one of the ones I'm thinking also might be scum. lynching mort would have given us so much more info. I'll bet that at least a couple of the gallstones votes are scum, that was a very easy bandwagon to hide votes.

Mort could very well be scum.
I still see DP and ani as strong suspects.
Gall did not help town with her play. if she even protected anyone?

Briilant. Well bloody done. Bye bye Doctor Gallstones. FFS.

Let's see, who was on that bw? Gosh, what a shock: irre, MZ and Mort, plus Charlou and Ani.
I can't even pretend to be surprised.

Charlou, the answer to your question (if you're REALLY interested and not just trying to make me look stupid/scummy for not knowing the "trusted innocent" answer) is that I've no idea why you've been issued with a jar of honey. IF you're telling the truth about that in the first place...
I too wondered if it could be a bomb, but then MZ started spouting about having ammo as his object, which sounds much more menacing - IF that's true as well, which I doubt far more than your jar of honey because I do think that your play has been far more pro-town than his.

Like an ASDIC set, doesn't make her wrong though, there is something very weird going on in this game.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

:sighsm:
Do tell, Oblivion. What "pings" exactly?
Being annoyed that the doctor got lynched for no sensible reason?
Feeling that no-one else but me (and possibly Normal) has any doubts about this "trusted innocent" business?
Daring to ask why irre and MZ are working so closely together when they're not even supposed to be in communication if they are town?

I'm sorry if my doubts don't suit you, but I STILL think we're being played.

Please don't drag me with you if you turn out to be scum.

I think I see what objects they were talking about, but I don't understand how Irre is supposed to know which objects belong to townies.

Sorry, Normal. I retract any suggestion that you might have doubted irre and MZ. Apparently that's unacceptable.

I'm just distancing myself from you as a charachter. I've been doubting you for a while, and I don't want it to seem as if we're buddies if you turn out scum

You made this post about 3 hours before nightfall:
Callan wrote:I'm almost at a loss who to vote for at the moment, because it would be completely pointless to vote for the people I'd really like to see go down - they seem to have this game pretty much sewn up between them, and no-one's batting an eyelid about it.

I know as a new player here I have zero credibility, and I'm feeling pretty close to giving up, but I will ask ONCE AGAIN why no-one seems worried about the reasons why irre and MZ are singing in such pretty harmony, why Gib's performance yesterday is being shelved in favour of making people out their roles in order to be "trusted" by a "self-cleared innocent" and why Mantis backed irre so passionately on Day One.

I refuse to vote for Gallstones today because a) she's not been here and b) I don't want to climb on any bandwaggon that has irre and MZ on it, thanks.

Now I'm going out and won't be back before nightfall.

As there's more chance of getting her lynched than any of the other three -
Vote Mantis

Which is a beautiful set up for your post above that I reacted to. You didn't quite come out and say that you thought Gallstones was town, but it was otherwise a very nice example of a scum in search of bonus town points opposing the lynch of a town player who is likely to be lynched. Best case is the I told you so card. Second best is a grateful town player who thinks you are on their side.
