The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

I'm looking forward to an explanation of the mechanism.irretating wrote:Eh, in my mind charlou is utterly cleared (as am I).. MZ is 90% cleared, feck 80%, dp 50%, and now UT 25%. One last thought before bed kids,
Zig seems to be staying canonical with this game, that means if there is a sideshow bob indie his win condition is likely to be killing Bart, that means Bart needs to be protected tonight.

Re: Simpsons Day 2
so far I think irre and char are still probably town.
oblivion is having either an off game or is claiming it to hide a scum game.
don't panic, feels like he's flailing under irre's pressure.
mort. really is the one that seems the most like scum to me right now. she threw a vote on gall. and just seems to be responding to people instead of thinking.
mantis, the whole vote normal, unvote normal, disappear thing have me thinking we need to keep an eye on her.

I agree with you on oblivion. Morticia is playing differently. Whether it's 'good' different or 'bad' different remains to be seen.Uselesstwit wrote:so far I think irre and char are still probably town.

Re: Simpsons Day 2
I don't have a problem with Mort's responses to questioning about her actions nor her vote on Gallstones .. in fact I have to wonder about anyone who doesn't think it necessary to pressure Gallstones at this point.
That's a vote Gallstones from me, too.

Re: Simpsons Day 2
My guess is that Irre has knowledge of some items that other town hold.
That is how she cleared Charlou.
I have signaled the item that my character holds.
She is 90% clear in my mind and by implication, anyone she clears is too.

Re: Simpsons Day 2
I don't have a problem voting for gallstones by itself. but coupled with what looks like mort playing below her abilities it raises suspicions. I'd rather people hunted scum that were here, because town or scum gallstones isn't a threat right now. unless she is around and just not coming in here.

Re: Simpsons Day 2
I just read the thread real quick. There are some interesting claims here, especially Irre's self proclaimed ability to identify town accurately. I'll come back in about half an hour to say more.
Re: Simpsons Day 2
Have I claimed an off game? I don't know if I'm off or not yet. I feel like I'm getting some pretty decent town reads, so I'm sticking with votes on people I'm way less sure about.
I'd vote gallstones if she were going to be around to defend herself.
Mort and Normal are pinging most at the moment. I'm not sure what to make of Irre's "clears", but for now I'll follow them.
