Okay, this is how I play these days .. I put Real Life first .. family, work, sleep, horses ... I look in when I can but wont post much if I don't have time to make a proper assessment ... I have a few hours each day to give the games my full attention, where I can do what you see here, catch up with the thread and make my assessment of the play so far.

I've caught up and am going back for a reread to see where I want to put my votes.

I don't see any strong basis for a charlou bandwagon.

For the life of me I don't get why quiet people aren't put under the spotlight more. It is way easier for scum to skate by and let (most likely) town people get the heat and the early lynchings. The way I see it at the moment, the way to avoid a lynch, while still offer almost nothing in the way of town play, is to come in with a single lynch vote, then go quiet. Is this town play?

Yep that totally pinged for me, too. If you're town, you don't loudly wonder if a player is a special, but lynch vote them anyhow. Sounds like scum musing.

The bandwagon is interesting. I voted Charlou ages ago for saying she'll watch what others do rather than participate. I think she's cleared that up for me in the sense of RL takes priority. It does for all of us. I've moved to gib not because I'm sure, but because he does react to being voted.

It's the biggest field we've had at Ratz in my time here. There are still a few who I'd like to hear more from. But Day 1 is a lottery. We almost have to assume we'll lynch a town and hope to learn from it. I'm looking specifically at those who are contributing in no way to this process.
