1) I have no idea, I expected him to vote for you to save himself, otherwise I would have. The only thing I can think is that he made the same mistake as Oblivion and thought you were still ahead of him.

2) No, because then we hand the game to scum. I don't know why she is suggesting that, it's counter-productive and if I didn't know better it looks like a ploy to save you. Mason teams often include a traitor and I haven't ruled that out.
