ani's game today seems really off. It's almost like he's deliberately baiting town so that he can say he told us so later. Whatever it is, it's not protown.
I don't look at the lynch. Scum will be away from the lynch. Maybe Feck just tipped it normal's way to protect Oblivion from being implicated in the lynch.
Let me know if you need to know any more. I think I've basically shared my thoughts on the thread quite liberally all game. Back to the grindstone.

Yabbut I wanted to be implicated in Ani's lynch. I'm not afraid to lynch town on day 1. It happens. That's why town outnumbers scum.

FECK needs to explain his vote.

I can't see him being so vocal as scum, even defensively. He just played a scum game. Quietly in my view.
Ani certainly wasn't quiet last game. Bbut you're correct this is the most vocal i've seen a while, and I distinctly remember a couple of games where he's been very quiet when he was scum.

There's a lot of pinging going around. It seems like the vocal crowd is all down the throats of the others in the vocal crowd. Morticia asks if we can nightchat, but then doesn't?

Feck's late vote seems a bit odd, too.

SR still stands out as my number 1 scum pick. All that flailing and announcing that human nature states that reasonable players cannot assume that blah blah blah or whatever is so counterintuitive to this game. I think I spot a scummy player and my attention just bounces right back to SR.

You were scum with him in a recent game, right?

There's an earnest self-righteousness to his posts today. On reread, that comes off as kind of n00by and townish. Also, I was wrong about who he was unvoting, and a UT unvote didn't look nearly as scummy as a normal unvote at that point.

do you think the self-righteousness was an act?

I also thought he unvoted Normal during that post. It seemed like he was explaining why he was pulling his vote. But that's old news.

What gets me about him today is that he seems like he's defining the game as a set of absolutes with no regard for innuendo. The word 'cocky' comes to mind. Also, his claim that his gaming style is carved in stone and cannot be changed. Taken in pieces, there's nothing major there. But, on the whole, his posts today seem brazen; as if he knew town was barking up the wrong tree.

I'm also getting suspicious of MZ for a similar brazen tone.

I wonder if the scum team is laughing at us for being so wrong, and that is carrying over into the game thread.

I don't think SR conforms to the mafia stereotypical behaviours and calls things as he sees them.
This I think is to his credit even though it makes him look a little scummy at times.
I don't see much of a problem with him at the moment.
I thought he looked very scummy last game as well. I ejected him for this very reason.
You can ask me about this rather peverse reasoning if you like.

I'm not backing off my three picks. Not yet. I've seen nothing to change my mind.

I don't understand. You were scum in the previous game. what does this even mean?

If you are town, then whatever reasons you have, just be willing to think about them in the light of tonight's kill(s). Town players trolleytracking is a gift to scum.

I make a point of varying my style. I don't want to be pigeon-holed.
I don't want to have a scum game and a town game. Or a special role game.
You get what you get. This game is my arrogant prick style #12.
I planning "brazen" for down the track.

I'm not sure what your question is.

I have the most open of minds. Three players however have gone out of their way to convince me of their guilt. I need convincing otherwise.
Alternatively, better candidates need to present.

I'm making a mental note that you should be high on my list whenever I'm next vig. even if you're town if you're going out of your way to be a cypher, town doesn't need you around for endgame.
