They Don't Dance Like This Anymore

Post by Robert_S » Sat Oct 30, 2010 11:20 pm

I never see dancing like this anymore

Or this

Whycome?
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

Because it's really fucking funny that I'm the only person in the club dancing like that.

And you may ask yourself: Well...How did I get here? :drama:

They don't make music like that anymore, let alone dance like that ... :levi:

And here's a better version from the video ... remember the days when music videos were still new enough that people tried to make them interesting?

I haven't looked at more than an hour of MTV in the past 10 years so I can't really judge.

That's probably about 55 minutes more than I have (voluntarily) looked at in that time. :ddpan:

Of course, the quality of music played by MTV (and almost every other music channel) would stop me from ever tuning into them in the first place, regardless of the quality of the videos.
