The subject says it, I guess! Sadly (or not?) that really does sum me up. My friends would agree, I think. I haven't been part of an online community in a while, but a community of rabid atheist is really too good to pass up. I'm here to learn and share, perhaps I have a somewhat different perspective. I'm hard pressed to find other queer women who are not spiritual in some way and as such do not have a large non-theist friend base (it is harder than you might think to make friends outside of the queer scene when one is overtly masculine in appearance). I want to change that! Forgive me if I'm jumping around, I'm usually much more concise but I have had too much caffeine, too little sleep and no food to speak of today.

I found the forums for the Richard Dawkins site and was very upset to learn that it had shut down because of some douche (that is now being sued or something?). Anyway, Richard Dawkins is pretty much my hero and I learned that much of the community on that forum had moved to this one. So there you have it! I'm here because I love Richard Dawkins, in a roundabout sort of way.
