Sends shivers down my spine, even on the youtube clip. On a good stereo it is even better. Sometimes, when nobody else is about, I clear the cobwebs off mine with a recording of it by Herbert Tachezi on the Silbermann organ in the Dresden Court church, but best is to hear it in a cathedral. I once heard it in Cologne's or Mainz'. Even though I was only 13 at the time, it seemed to melt my bones. Really, it took a while after the performance before I managed to rejoin the other - ordinary - real world, and get up and out of the pew.leo-rcc wrote:
