Wheels rollin' in!

Post by wheels5894 » Mon Oct 11, 2010 9:11 am

OK, just joined the forum but not a lot to say in a post like this. I was a Chrsitian and studied for an MTheol degree which I got in 1996 which was what finally sent me to atheism. Doing a degree is great for making one think clearly and ignore the preaching a church produces.

Anyway, looking forward to some good discussions.

Cool. Welcome. I was working on a n undergrad Philosophy degree with a plan to get something like an MTheol when it dawned on me that all that shit was made up. It's been babies for breakfast ever since. :food:

Hi wheeles, and a big welcome to Ratz! :td:
Although it may look like a forum, this site is actually a crowd-sourced science project modelling the slow but inexorable heat death of the universe.

I did not go that far - just read one New Testament to shreds in my free time and the bible twice through. On my third round, reading Job 13, I put the book away for good - it sounded too much like some of the patients in a mental ward where I had been training as a student nurse.

You will find them - especially when you learn to use the advanced search (look in the upper right corner) and to start new topics.

Would you like a theme tune?

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.
