Bionics. Perfect. I love every single little fucking thing about it. It's my fucking dream. !!!!!! ARRRGH. I'll do anything to get into bionics studies. But, I want a complete straight avenue for a degree, not futzing around with some math here and some physics there with a spice of chemistry (which I'm currently doing like a fucking maniac). Trying right now to scour information on the web about colleges and admission prereqs. I'm so doing it. I'm so loving it.

http://www.reading.ac.uk/Study/ug/Biome ... csBSc.aspxBiomedical Engineering and Cybernetics studies the point at which man and machines meet and places particular emphasis on the human aspects of systems. Biomedical projects conducted by undergraduate students have included the distributed control of a prosthetic arm and the building of a compliant robot to assist with patient rehabilitation. You will have an introduction to the technological subjects of Cybernetics and this will be accompanied by the study of biological, neuro-computation, medical engineering, bionics, instrumentation, clinical issues and biological cybernetics. Appropriate subjects are studied in depth, such as signal processing, which is used in mammography. In this programme, we emphasise the application of core cybernetic principles with less emphasis given to practical laboratory work.

Germany? Sure, send a transexual Jew to Germany... that's bound to work.GenesForLife wrote:http://www.hochschule-rhein-waal.de/en/ ... ionik.html
Well, according to some biomed college pre-reqs I need 5 units in Math (that's basically trig, algebria+some calculus). I know 3 units, currently studying to 5.GenesForLife wrote:What entry level qualifications ddo you have currently, Dory? As in Pre-Uni?

I also need 5 units in Physics. I got 0. But, starting physics soon...just want to get more exercise in math first. The thing is that I learn in demonic speed so I'm sure I'll catch up with 5 math and 5 physics by the end of this year...then I'll look for a college.

I'm sure I can get away without doing any SAT-like exams-- I hate this crap. It's mostly speed-shit and stupid riddles that are like a game...the more you do 'em the more you get better in them. It's the educational-industrial-complex. So, I refuse SAT. And, I'm sure I can get away with it if I have good enough math-phys grades.

If you are interested, Dory, you may want to email the University of Reading asking what the pre-req qualifications for Israeli students are, that should give you a definite idea.
