Inspirational music orchestra
There's nothing like a good orchestrated music to juice my flow...or...flow my juices.... ah whatever, you get my point. Anyone know any good ones?

Yeh, I'm not actually a fan of classical music, or religion, but in spite of that, Handel's Messiah is a TRUE work of genius, that's also worth listening to.

Re: Inspirational music orchestra
Where to start? Do you want rousing - in which case Beethoven's 9th. Do you want gentle and relaxing? I would suggest almost anything by Debussy.
Do you want brilliance? Mozart's Piano Concerto no 20. How about something slightly more modern? Stravinsky's Right of Spring will do it.
I love all sorts of music, but classical still remains the real deal for me when the pop stuff fades into obscurity.

Try Ensemble Ambrosius from Finland, they play Zappa-Music on Baroque instruments. http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/a ... 44,00.html

What's going on? You seem to have linked to an MP3 here, but my webpage doesn't show anything.Thinking Aloud wrote:

It's a piece of piss to be cowiz, but it's not cowiz to be a piece of piss. Or something like that.

You just push the play button and it loads... does it not do that for you?mistermack wrote:What's going on? You seem to have linked to an MP3 here, but my webpage doesn't show anything.Thinking Aloud wrote:

No, my page doesn't even show a button. I could see that something should be there, so I clicked the quote button, and it showed a link to an mp3, so I pasted that into my adress bar and got it that way.Bella Fortuna wrote: You just push the play button and it loads... does it not do that for you?
I don't see why there is no button showing on my page.
Not fair.

Dunno - it's just a board [ mp3 ] tag that loads a flash mp3 player. Maybe it's a flash thing.

Re: Inspirational music orchestra
On or about 1989 Leonard Bernstein did a concert where the Berlin Wall once stood. They did Beethoven's Ninth, and replaced "freude" (joy) with "frieheit" (freedom).

It's odd. I've just got a blank space where you are seeing a button.Thinking Aloud wrote:Dunno - it's just a board [ mp3 ] tag that loads a flash mp3 player. Maybe it's a flash thing.
If I click quote, it shows the mp3 stuff in the quote box, but not on the original page.
Looks like I'm missing all mp3 links for some reason.
Must be something to do with security settings, I think.
