In those extreme situations I am sure the dog would not expect you to bring it food! But it is more likely to share some with you if it catches anything!

I think that might be the problem with the cat owners , they are worried that a bright dog will make them look stupid ,I think they have found their niche as a servant to a cat . Maybe that's why half of those cute cat pictures on the web are of those mutant looking Pedigree cats with their eyes too far apart ..that's the cat owners trying to breed a cat they can feel superior to :hehe:

If I HAD to, I'd eat one. Where's the moral dilemma? Is there some sort of categorical difference between choosing to eat puppy or kitty on one hand and choosing to eat lamb or calf on the other?
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein’s brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops. - Stephen J. Gould

So the cat has more brains. I knew that.
Yes. More brains. This is unhelpful when trying to train it to do my dirty work. I will still keep the dog.

Do they do your dishes and imagine you doing porn?
I'm wild just like a rock, a stone, a tree
And I'm free, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I flow, just like a brook, a stream, the rain
And I fly, just like a bird up in the sky
And I'll surely die, just like a flower plucked
And dragged away and thrown away
And then one day it turns to clay
It blows away, it finds a ray, it finds its way
And there it lays until the rain and sun
Then I breathe, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I grow, just like a baby breastfeeding
And it's beautiful, that's life

Yeah, except for the dishes part, and the porn part.

Can I let it grow for a few months before I butcher it? The pup looks like he's got pretty big feet.

If I have to eat, I have to eat. That's the end of the story. I don't want a me versus my animal friends scenario, but I will try and survive.
