Gallstones was more blunt about it than she could have been but that's no reason for an experienced player to draw attention to it and make the seer out fully. Especially on a view that just didn't matter.

By the way totals you also did this but it's a lot more normal for a new player to do it. If you see someone make a stronger than warranted opinion about the mayor on day 2. It's a good sign that they're the seer and that they viewed the mayor night one.
