Post by Tero » Fri Sep 03, 2010 11:19 pm

I am at home 3-4 weeks, due to foot stuff.

Here is going to be the stuff I was able to watch on TV and DVDs.

Sandra Bullock movie..she has to marry the secretary, in Alaska

25 minutes of first Planet Earth Disc

15 minutes of Roseanne episode on Oxygen

RUSH Snakes and Arrows DVDs. I do not watch all, it plays on my computer.

More later.

New day. Surfed through tv news for 5 minutes. Earthquake in NZ, Fox news shows cops chasing guy with pickup on bike path and then on grass. Truck in ditch, end of story.

Watched an entire Lady Ga Ga video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrO4YZeyl0I&feature=fvw

It had a nice beat and you can dance to it. I prefer to see teenage boys masturbating to Lady Ga Ga over Madonna, the old bag.

But those boxes the white vinyl people come out of, they are just ski boxes from car top carriers! I have one.

Saw 5 minutes of the end of Ghostbusters 2. Have seen bits of it before. I wont be renting it.

Seriously thinking of watching bird feeder in place of TV, though normally I feed only Nov to February.

I was home for almost four months following a heavy duty operation a few years ago. I watched day time TV a great deal....All I will say is this: I became addicted to Friends and ended up buying the complete boxed sets so that I could be sure to have seen them all.

It is a period of my life I am deeply ashamed of.

I actually have seen at least 30-40 episodes of Friends. Or parts of. This is how I know who Jennifer Aniston is, so I can make sense of the tabloid covers at the supermarket. Phoebe I remember, she might have had a show, and I remember Ross, he might have been somewhat interesting had he been a real person. The rest of the cast I have forgotten.

Used to come home to A Team reruns that we watched as a recently married couple, so I probably have seen more episodes of that and MASH than other shows. I have not watched a regular show since 1990.

I can't say I really blame you. My self image has never truly recovered.

If it helps at all, I feel physically sick now when I so much as hear that nauseating theme music... :|~

The wife came back and we watched most of Monty Python's Meaning of Life. I won't be watching it again, goes to recycling.

I only watch Holy Grail once a year, usually with one of my kids.

Sunday watched most of disc 2 of Planet Earth. Attenborough pays way more attention to the plants than the planet, and also the parasite critters, dependent on the plants.

Critters is a kingdom of organisms that never learned photosynthesis, or forgot it.
