I am now going to make a serious attempt to get Joni Mitchell, by nonstop listening to Blue until it clicks. Any suggestions on what sort of state of mind to be in whilst listening?

A little bit blue would help.

I lived in Chatham in the Medway towns at the end of the 1980s so knew Billy Childish a bit, and also Kyra who I think was in Thee Headcoatees. I played him at chess a few times in this caff we all used to go to but he always wiped the board with me in about three minutes.

I love this song. I was listening to it on my way to work this morning.
