Dunno. Either way it's been a great game. I'm not fussed with who wins, but it's killing me not knowing it if's ziggy or feral. (this isn't gameplay, the game is over one way or another as far as I can tell and I really am the doc)

Which ever one it is they're a good liar. It really was a coin toss between them. Feral seemed more sincere though, to me anyway, and it will kill me if I'm wrong. It would be like someone you really trust betraying you.

You know I am new to GMing, and I am faced with a tough decision to make.

Day 4 ended early with final votes for Mayor and Lynch, both in a tie.

I could have asked you all to repeat the day, which would probably ended in the same results. That means that I need to break the tie for Mayor somehow.

I have decided, with the input of a good friend and veteran GM on how to handle this. I could have flipped a coin. I could have gone with the first person to get two mayoral votes. Both ways seem random at best, and could possibly punish players in odd timezones or working or whatever.

Then, it occurred to me that there was one player who "bent" the spirit of the rules by posting a screenshot of the PM inbox. While this is not expressly forbidden, I do believe that it is enough of a violation of the spirit of the rules to warrant a punishment. This punishment would not be any great surprise, as I have already announced it.

The fair punishment would be as follows:

Ani's Mayoral vote would only count as 1/2 of a vote, thus breaking the tie and meaning that Twinkie would be your Mayor.

Having a Mayor would break the tie in the lynch votes and FP would be killed.

If FP was Town, Scum would only have to make a nightkill and achieve parity by morning. Scum would win. Then again, there is no record of any Doctor yet being killed. There could be a chance that there is a Doctor, and that they might prevent the scum kill overnight.

If FP was Scum, Town would win tonight.

So, you can plainly see that my decision to punish Ani is not something I take lightly. My decision ultimately decides the winner of this game.

Mini Mafia is currently tied Town 1, Scum 1. This game was the big tiebreaker.

I will ponder this decision and render my judgment shortly.

After further thought and consulting . . .

Ani's punishment will be that his ability to vote for a Mayor is diminished by 50%.

That means Ani got 1 1/2 votes for mayor and Twinkie got 2 votes for mayor.

You have Elected Twinkie as your Mayor.

As such, Twinkie has swayed your Lynch vote in favor of FP.

FP was vanilla town.
