Welcome to Mini Mafia!!!

Please read and understand these rules as well as this site's rules before posting.

This is a Fiendly Mafia game. If you're not going to play nice, you risk staff action from this site's moderators as well as being expelled from the game by the GM (me).

The goal of Mafia is for the good players (Town) to eliminate all the evil players (Scum). Or, if Scum achieves parity (equal numbers to Town), Scum wins.

Town has a vast majority at the start of the game, but Scum has real teeth, so be careful!!!

If you are Town, you may not PM or otheriwise contact any other player during the game. Scum may PM other Scum freely. You may paraphrase your role PM, but you may not copy it into any thread on this site nor PM it. This is true far any and all PMs from the GM.

Gameday begins around 11am EST and Nightfall happens around 11pm. During the day, you may all vote to lynch one player (killing them) and to elect a Mayor. Mayors get an extra 1/2 vote and serve as tiebreakers in lynch votes. Ties left unbroken at nightfall will be decided randomly by the GM.

Lynch Votes are Bold And Black
Mayor votes are Bold and Blue

You may alter your votes By typing Unvote and entering a new vote.

I will not be closing the threads after nightfall. You may continue to post all night if you like, but you may not vote after dark.

This thread is the Rules/Peanut Gallery thread, and no gameplay may take place in this thread.

The Game thread is open only to players who are still alive. No Zombie posts, please.

Once you are signed up, you are enrolled in the Mini Mafia series and will automatically be added to subsequent games until you sign out again. This way, I can keep games running without interuption. More players may sign up along the way, but I'm going to cap enrollment at 20 for now.

Posts in the gamethread may not be edited for any reason.

Thanks. I think that means Australian CST is 5 hours ahead of your (North America?) EST. 11:00 am EST is 4:00 pm ACST. I think.

Ok...just posting this because time zone juggling sucks. Eastern Daylight time is GMT - 4. British Summer time is GMT + 1. West Coast Australia is currently GMT + 10, and New Zealand is GMT + 12

I think we're 14 and a half hours ahead of you, Zigmen. If so, 11 pm your time will be 1.30 pm ours.

Accounting for your DST, 11 pm there would be 12.30 pm here.
